Gameday #26 Houston

Season's felicitations one and all....

The Minnesota Timberwolves have had a couple of days rest and recuperation since their defeat at Madison Square Garden. During this time one hopes that Kevin Love's eyeball has recovered enough for him to suit up against the Rockets tonight, he's "probable" as things stand.
Last night the Rockets handed out a real beating to the Chicago Bulls 120 -97. According to NBA.com it would seem that even though Houston had a commanding lead for the entire second half (Thibodeau wisely removing Deng and Noah from the court of play entirely during this stretch) Coach McHale stuck with a tight 8 man rotation until, almost, the death. Strange on the first night of a back-to-back...we can only hope that messrs Harden, Lin, Asik and Parsons are tired tonight.

In saying that I do fancy the Wolves against this Houston side....if you were to have a starting 5 of Rubio, Shved, Kirilenko, Love and Pek, that looks mightily good against the Houston five and we are much deeper on the bench.

Still the Rockets are on a roll and have won their last 4 on the bounce, including a big win in MSG for the Linsanity return.

Shved/Harden...key.
