Currently the New York Knickerbockers are playing without their marquee players (Anthony, Stoudemire and Davis). Generally this would spell disaster for the Knicks but over the last 4 games they have gone undefeated...in fact they have won those games very convincingly and it's mainly, if not totally, due to the form of back-up point guard Jeremy Lin.

Lin-spiration
Over these four games Lin's stat line has read thus....points and assists
v New Jersey - 25/7
v Utah - 28/8
v Washington - 23/10
v LA Lakers - 38/7
Oceanary, over on Canis Hoopus provided a link to an excellent article on Lin which details Jeremy's struggles, being Asian American, to be recognised and taken seriously as a bona fide NBA player....and the racial taunts he's received since his days at Harvard...it's a fairy tale story.
Lin v Rubio will be an absorbing contest......I hope the Spaniard can lift himself, he's looked out of sorts in the last two games...reality bites...this NBA season is nuts. It would lift us all if Ricky can get back on track and give Lin a terrible night.
I am looking towards the starting fives with bated breath.
