The Minnesota Timberwolves return to the Staples Center tonight to play the Lakers.
There are lots of rumors circulating today concerning Kobe Bryant's "nasal fracture" and "concussion"....let's get one thing straight, if Kobe is on the court tonight he ain't concussed....anyway, who really cares....if you have designs on beating the Lakers you want them to be at full strength...Go Kobe!

Okay, okay....let's get the sensible head on for a couple of minutes.
The Lakers are 3-2 for their last five games and have played some good teams in that spell, OKC , Dallas,...they also split games with Phoenix, hammering them at the Staples then being hammered in Phoenix two days later. It's fair to say that the Lakers aren't as fearsome as they have been in recent seasons....that, I suppose, makes them dangerous.
I have a feeling that Darko will be gainfully employed again tonight against the length of Gasol and Bynum.
Can D-Will continue his sparkling form and can B-Easy put on another show for his Tinseltown suitors? One thing I forgot to mention about last night's game was the change in Michael's attitude. It was during the 2nd quarter....he had a serious "mini-blip"....on successive possessions he missed two free throws, missed a defensive assignment and then missed badly on a mid-range jumper over a rust-encrusted Bobby Simmons....last year that would have been enough to send him scurrying away into his shell....last night he reacted with a conversion on a strong baseline drive followed by a swish from three point range. That shows some courage and belief...please let this be the corner he has to turn.
I seriously doubt whether Rick Adelman will tinker with the starting line up unless Love doesn't make it. At this moment in time you would predict that LA would miss Bryant more than the Twolves would miss Love in this game?
Later.
